11 yrs ago when I moved here I was excited to see a 'hometown grocery store'...my excitement faded as I entered a dark and dirty store that wreaked of cigarette smoke near the back. I seldom went there and only for true emergencies like grabbing milk or an ingredient for a recipe I'd started. I started doing better with keeping stuff in stock so lately I hadn't a need to go in. I'd wondered when I heard there was a new owner but I was set in my ways now and didn't need to go there. But my husband would stop in now and then for bakery items. He started updating me with the condition of the store so curiosity got the best of me (as did the baked goods) and I stopped in. What a world of difference! It is clean now, there is no more smoking in the back area, the shelves are stocked, there a some great deals, and my ever precious milk... a LOT less expensive than the big store in Altoona! If you were like me and turned off by this place a few years ago, be like me and give it another try!
Always have what I need, wish they would enforce the "no parking" in the fire lane in front of store. That's just lazy
